Free time: yes, Money: no, Inspiration: zilch.

Fri Apr 10, 2009, 12:42 AM
So it's my one-month spring holidays and though I'm supposed to be ecstatic and exhilarated for this freedom I have after slaving away on projects for the past few months -- I think that positiveness is fading away as the days pass.

For one, I'm pretty much broke, because of a ton of unexpected payments I've had to make lately (eg. I managed to drop my laptop some time ago and its LCD screen cracked. w00t? , deposit for our house next Autumn which is actually higher than the monthly rent :shakefist: , etc. etc.), and the fact that our allowance for the next 3 months will only be banked in by the end of April (on the 20-something ish, usually).

Hence, my dear dA-ers, I am in need of some motivation/inspiration for ... stuff. Anything; crafts, art, etc. Looking through my gallery, I do like some of the stuff I've done, but don't feel like doing them again? If you know what I mean. I think being in Architecture has kinda sucked the artsy creativeness away from me a lil' bit. I seem to have forgotten all the stuff I was so excited to try out and explore before.... :sniff:

I can't say I'm taking commissions or anything, because the only art supplies I currently have are... a ton of cardboard/board/paper/junkmail, some air-dried clay (this is a new one I've tried out -- I think it's more like the cold ceramic stuff I keep hearing about), yarn & crocheting/knitting stuff, brooch backs, acrylic paints, beads, wire, wooden coffee stirrers (left-over from my model project), and... that's about it, I think. (No sewing machine, no felt or fabric, my Wacom tablet doesn't work in Linux. :hmm: )

Currently I'm only working on a crocheted plastic bag (out of, yes, plastic bags), I'm starting to get into rubber stamp carving, although I suck at it, and I'll be attempting to knit a teddy bear from a kit I won. So... if you have the time, and am familiar with the stuff I do (take a look at my Flickr if you don't) -- any suggestions on ... anything? :D

Muchos gracias. :peace:

Serri Cherry from West Midlands is posting your work on Facebook as her own
:iconaneesah:
Oh gosh, thanks for letting me know. I can't seem to find her via Search, though... do you happen to know her profile?

:iconkasiaala:
yes, but I can't report her myself as a third party. I already checked it with Facebook rules. Check for her again Serii Cherry.
:iconaneesah:
I'm afraid search results still come up with zero, I suppose she's not searchable.

I'm not too bothered with it honestly... my stuff here is ancient. As long as she's not gaining profits or anything, I'll let it be.

She deleted all drawings and me with her Facebook. It was just annoying how all ppl was going about how good she is and her comments. I don't know why I was so bothered about it. I should really care less about other ppl.
